When you wanna eat deep-fried chicken at home, but do not want to work so much, or when you operate a restaurant and not want to cost so much to hire so many chefs, it will be a very good option to purchase a frozen meal of dee-fried whole chicken made by the Time-honored Brand of Foshan Xinyurun Food Company… However, Cooking a frozen prepared whole deep-fried chicken requires careful handling to ensure it’s heated thoroughly without burning the exterior. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to cook it properly:

Firstly, you need to make the whole hard chicken under frozen status to be fully thawed,or the chicken will can not be heated evenly, which will may to make it’s meats on surface already cooked well and middle part still in frozen status…

Oven Method

Materials Needed:

  • Aluminum foil
  • Baking tray or roasting pan
  • Cooking thermometer (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Your Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). This temperature will help cook the chicken evenly without charring the outside.
  2. Prepare the Chicken: If the chicken is still frozen, it’s important not to thaw it at room temperature due to food safety concerns. You can cook it from frozen, but it will take longer.
  3. Wrap the Chicken: Place the frozen chicken on a baking tray or roasting pan. Wrap it loosely with aluminum foil to prevent the skin from burning before the inside is fully cooked.
  4. Cook the Chicken: Place the tray in the preheated oven. The cooking time will vary depending on the size of the chicken and whether it is frozen or partially thawed. As a general guideline, allow about 50 minutes per pound (0.45 kg) for a whole chicken when starting from a frozen state.
  5. Check for Doneness: After the estimated cooking time, remove the foil and check the internal temperature of the thickest part of the chicken (such as the thigh) with a cooking thermometer. It should reach at least 165°F (74°C) to be considered safe to eat.
  6. Crisp the Skin (Optional): If the skin isn’t crispy enough after reaching the correct internal temperature, you can increase the heat to around 400°F (200°C) for the last 10-15 minutes of cooking, keeping an eye on it to avoid burning.

  7. Rest Before Serving: Once done, let the chicken rest for about 10 minutes before carving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a juicier serving.

Microwave Method (Not Recommended for Crispiness)

If you’re in a hurry and don’t mind sacrificing the crispness of the skin, you can use a microwave-safe container and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. However, microwaving might not yield the best results for a whole deep-fried chicken due to uneven heating and lack of crisping.

Always remember to handle frozen poultry carefully and follow safe food handling practices to avoid cross-contamination.
